Blogathon for Charity
This year Blogathon begins July 28 at 9AM Eastern time, this is an event that makes bloggers post for 24 hours... that's exactly what Mike and Tish will be doing to support The Glaucoma Foundation at BlogsWeLuv, make sure to visit them and find out how you can make a difference!
I thought i could try to explain what a glaucoma is but you can learn better with someone with an history with the disease in here!
Summing it up it's a disease associated with the optic nerve and it's one of the leading causes of blindness! It's more common in older people but you can't ignore the possibility that you can be at risk for example if you have a family member in this situation, if you have unstable blood pressure or even hypertension... So my advice is to have an eye examination done by an ophthalmologist or optometrist because bigger damages to the optic nerve due to this disease can be prevented!!!
BlogsWeLuv would also like to know you a little better on their Ten Questions Challenge!
