Concert for Diana @ Wembley Stadium
Today England commemorated the 46th birthday of Princess Diana, who died in a tragic accident in France almost 10 years ago, with a fantastic concert in the Wembley Stadium. The show opened with an emotional performance of "Your Song" by Sir Elton John, followed by Duran Duran, Lilly Allen, James Morrison, Fergie, Nelly Furtado, Joss Stone, Kanye West, Diddy and Take That to name a few! My favorite performances were Nelly Furtado (of course!!) singing "Say it Right", "I'm like a bird" and "Maneater"; James Morrison(what a beautiful voice); Kanye West had so much energy on stage, amazing; and i would say Fergie too, except for like half of her performance the sound system was down and we didn't hear her singing!!
Also appearances by David Beckham, Dennis Hopper and Sienna Miller.

wow.. it amazes me that some people don't know who Princess Diana is.. erm.. isn't she like one of the most famous people in the world? No matter, I hope this concert reminded us and also gave introduction to a beautiful lovely lady. She should be in the history books by now! Great post.. love it!
Yes....James Morrison Rocked. Take Five also blew me away. I thought the whole show was really amazing!
i saw it last nite on the paid tv.. i love the segment when those ppl who diana work closely made their comments.. so lovely princess indeed... i was watching it from 730pm till 2am... im so sleepy now...
