Jennifer Aniston had moved on. After the long-awaited meeting between Angelina Jolie and her fell apart — when Angie and Brad Pitt backed out of the Feb. 23 Night Before pre-Oscar party in LA — the headlines about the almost-showdown were quickly forgotten.
Until Angelina’s brother, James Haven, opened his mouth, that is. In an interview with the U.K.’s Grazia magazine, James revealed the real reason the couple were no-shows (despite being listed, along with Jen, as co-hosts of the party). While the oddly worded statement seemed sweet on the surface, it managed to paint Jen as a fragile, wounded woman who could never have handled a meeting with her ex-husband’s lover.
So what made Angie lash out at Jen via her brother? Angie (who has said she is willing to meet with Jen) was getting negative publicity for skipping the Night Before party, especially since she chose to publicly flaunt her baby bump that same day at the Independent Spirit Awards. Despite her super-confident public image, Angelina’s actually deeply insecure, says an insider. “She’s convinced that Jen is still in love with Brad,” the insider says. As a result, says the insider, Brad is dismayed by James’ comments about Jen but is afraid to say anything to Angelina. “He knows her knee-jerk reaction will be to accuse him of taking Jen’s side,” the insider says. “He just wants to keep the peace.”

Sad. Of course Jennifer is a 'fragile wounded woman' to stand and see the bitch who stole her husband and then made sure to get mega knocked up. Any woman would be. No one would be ok with that.
What Angelina could not stand is that it would reflect the ugly truth on her, the kind of person she is, and the ruthless sociopathic things she did with no remorse for her victim Jennifer. She got her prey, but that's not enough. She wants to look like a saint.
No deal Ms. Hardass. No amount of Photo-op charity performances will change what you are or what you did. You are not a woman to admire. You are the kind of woman to watch out for and defend against. Brad is weak and he's dressing like a rerun of Starsky and Hutch.
.And if anyone believes that bull.....I have a bridge to sell. Why in the real world, would an acknowledged successful mother, humanitarian and award winning actor ever be interested, care, acknowledge another woman who seemingly has gone on with her life anyway (the rags' hype and lies not withstanding). Ms Jolie lives well in her own, the real world, unselfish, self awareness of past mistakes in her youth, and continues with assurance, love, respect and children? The rag world feeds you lies, rumors, other sources(?) and you swallow it whole. No one stole anyone from anyone (impossible to say the least). We all, thank goodness, make our own beds and choose to or not lie in them. Jealousy, concern re another woman, who seemingly continues (maybe with past regrets) her life for the last 3 years with working, going out, friends, dates , going her own way, as does Ms Jolie -- with her success in all categories, love, respect and admirtion from her peers, and from all parts of the world. Stop using Ms Anniston, as an excuse for you to attack Ms Jolie who like Ms Anniston, contribute nothing to the loathsome tabloids' lies and untrue assertions as if they were apart of their personal lives. There is not any combat between any of the three and certainly not Ms Anniston and Jolie. Your comments with all your strange, reality-challenged, hating,psychotic, illogic, is not with them but yourself, your life!. These baseless, unpleasant and hateful tirades about people, you and other haters are not privy to, would be funny if there were not that underlying ugliness beneath. Ms Jolie with family and work, giving and helping others, raising happy, healthy children does not know you exist. Her reading matter (and her writing), and voice give no acknowledgment to you, blogs and tabloids. Why would she read such lies, etc ? She has other educating books, essays to fill her already full life.. Ms Anniston remains way above such unnecessary or wanted support by the likes of you all. She's probably embarrassed by such attention. That's of course, if she's aware of you at all.
The personality press has taken these stories and blown them up. People are finally coming out to say that their was never really an acrimonious breakup. Jen dumped Brad, not the other way around (see Sheryl Crows statement in the same rag.)
I have to wonder why then people waited to speak up? Were the three parties using this whole love triangle as a publicity scheme to stay on the covers of gossip magazines? Why did they hoist themselves up on a pedestal only to make sure they were thrown down? In my opinion, there is some truth to the jealousy and antipathy. Haven't you ever had a breakup? What floors me is why neither of these girls blame BRAD "Al Bundy" PITT? (His ex, Gwinnie called him that.)

For some reason, this whole Angie vs. Jen thing makes me so sad. I can't get over it! I can't imagine how Jen feels, seeing Angelina surrounded by babies, creating babies, and living the life she would've loved to live with Brad. I don't want to point any fingers here, but I can't help feeling animosity towards Brad and Angie. How can Brad just up and leave Jen like that? Angelina doesn't need Brad- that's obvious.
