David Duchovny Says Gillian Anderson Is a Good Kisser (The X-Files Spoilers)

David Duchovny seems to be getting a little sentimental on this movie but he still manages to include a reference to porn in the interview and say Gillian Anderson is a good kisser. Typical David!!David on kissing Gillian Anderson: "Is Gillian a good kisser? Yes she is. And we've kissed before over the years. It's been many years of kissing and it's not been a chore at all, at least not for Mulder. I guess you should ask Scully!"

David on how many times Mulder and Scully kiss on screen: "Somebody found one of these video pastiches that fans put together online - they'd cut all the kissing scenes together and set it to music. Gillian and I were watching and she said, 'I thought we only kissed once?' It was like a porn movie. It looked as if we were all over each other!" (video here)

David on admitting that the X-Files reunion was “sentimental” for him: “I realized that Gillian and I have changed over the years, but when you start reading these people, they haven’t. They are the same and they feel the same way about each other.”

David on showing some skin on the big screen: “There’s definitely some skin in this movie. And not all of it is being flayed or ripped apart. There’s some Gillian skin, and some of mine.”

Producer-writer Frank Spotnitz on the plotline: “The emotional story of Mulder and Scully is really the heart of the movie. It’s about their love story.”

We can tell you “The X-Files: I Want To Believe” story is set in winter 2008, so it’s happening in real time, picking up with Fox Mulder and Dana Scully six years after we last saw them alone in a hotel room after Mulder escaped the death penalty. Can’t wait to see this movie!! I’m so excited!! July 25!!!

'The X-Files – I Want to Believe’ Movie News

The truth is finally out there about the new “X-Files” movie title. OMG that title was soo obvious I don’t know why I didn’t think about that before.
The second big-screen spinoff of the paranormal TV adventure will be called “The X-Files: I Want to Believe,” Chris Carter, the series’ creator and the movie’s director and co-writer, told The Associated Press.
The title is a familiar phrase for fans of the series that starred David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson as FBI agents chasing after aliens and supernatural happenings. “I Want to Believe” was the slogan on a poster Duchovny’s UFO-obsessed agent Fox Mulder had hanging in the cluttered basement office where he and Anderson’s Dana Scully worked.
“It’s a natural title,” Carter said in a telephone interview Tuesday during a break from editing the film. “It’s a story that involves the difficulties in mediating faith and science. ‘I Want to Believe.’ It really does suggest Mulder’s struggle with his faith.”
“It has struck me over the last several years talking to college-age kids that a lot of them really don’t know the show or haven’t seen it,” Carter said. “If you’re 20 years old now, the show started when you were 4. It was probably too scary for you or your parents wouldn’t let you watch it. So there’s a whole new audience that might have liked the show. This was made to, I would call it, satisfy everyone.”
The filmmakers have kept the story tightly under wraps to prevent plot spoilers from leaking on the Internet, a phenomenon that barely existed when the first movie came out in 1998.
“We went to almost comical lengths to keep the story a secret,” Carter said. “That included allowing only the key crew members to read the script, and they had to read it in a room that had video cameras trained on them. It was a new experience.”
I can’t wait to see this movie!!! Exciting!!! Counting down the days, hours and minutes!! :D

Red Hot Chili Peppers are suing Showtime for Californication

I guess I saw this coming but I wasn’t expecting it to take so long! The latest successful TV show from Showtime was named Californication and the first thing that came to my mind was that humm isn’t it a Red Hot Chili Peppers’ song? But nothing was said about the matter and I even thought there was some kind of agreement for the use of that word…
Guess not! After this season of Californication was over, RHCP woke up on Nov 19 and decided to sue saying "'Californication' is the signature CD, video and song of the band's career. For some TV show to come along and steal our identity is not right."
That CD came out soo long ago that they should be thanking Showtime to make people remember their glory days! Oh RHCP still want the show to stop using the name and to turn over any profits made by using it. I say whatever… they should get over their rock ass egos!!

Mulder & Scully Are Back

OMG! Finally director Chris Carter and producer Frank Spotnitz got over their differences with FOX and sat down to discuss a now or never second X-Files movie, and the decision is NOW!!! I'm sure this will make a lot of obsessed fans really happy, who am I kidding!?! I'm excited I can't wait to watch it, The X-Files was a big landmark on the 90s and I practically grew up with it!
David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will return to their roles as Fox Mulder and Dana Scully when they start filming in Vancouver in December. The much anticipated movie is set to be release next year July 25th but there’s no official title yet.
The X-Files the movie will be a stand-alone new story and won’t follow the lead on the big conspiracy developed in the TV show that culminated in the escape of Mulder and Scully from the law.

Halle Berry and Benicio Del Toro are the stars in this movie to be released in selected theaters on Oct. 19th!

Audrey Burke (Halle Berry) is reeling from the shock of the news that has just been delivered to her door by the local police: her warm and loving husband Brian (David Duchovny), the father of their two young children, has been killed in a random act of violence. Once anchored by the love and comforts of their 11-year marriage, Audrey is now adrift. Impulsively, she turns to Jerry Sunborne (Benicio Del Toro), a down-and-out addict who has been her husband’s close friend since childhood. Desperate to fill the painful void caused by her husband’s death, Audrey invites Jerry to move into the room adjacent to their garage in the hope that he can help her and her children cope with their sudden loss. Jerry is facing a daily battle to stay off drugs, but in his unexpected role as surrogate parent and friend to Audrey’s son and daughter he finds a core of inner resilience. Californication with David Duchovny

Californication is the new Showtime original series airing on Mondays after Weeds! It tells the story of a best selling author Hank Moody (DAVID DUCHOVNY), actually just a one hit wonder that moves with his girlfriend from New York City to Los Angeles to turn is novel into a bad romantic comedy movie called "A Crazy Little Thing Called Love".

From then on Hank gets a really bad case of writer's block and all his life falls apart, his now ex-girlfriend Karen (NATASCHA McELHONE) is about to get married and he has to worry about his young daughter Becca (MADELEINE MARTIN) that he loves more than anything else!!
What's really good about this story is that it seems to bring a little bit of Sex and the City back, a journey of discovery and searching for love that involves a lot of sex, drinks and women... with an amazing performance by David Duchovny! Who doesn't remember David as Agent Mulder in The X-Files, loved that show! :)
Californication
Don't forget to watch the show besides Hank is taking a job as a blogger to help him go through his writer's block! But he doesn't seem to take blogging seriously...
