Jamie Lynn Spears & Baby Maddie Briann Out & About

Jamie Lynn Spears is adjusting well to her new responsibilities as a mom. She was seen out and about with a friend and 2 month-old baby Maddie Briann.Reportedly there will be a late fall wedding at Jamie Lynn’s own backyard, where she and baby daddy Casey Aldridge will exchange vows in a small private ceremony. With the wedding approaching quickly, Jamie Lynn is planning to look her best on the big day. "She's already down to her pre-pregnancy weight," says a friend. "She has the cutest figure!"

Jamie Lynn Spears Delivery Room Drama NOT Real

Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth to a healthy baby girl, Maddie Briann, on June 19 and she counted on her whole family (including Britney) there for support. But it seems like tabloids can’t get a good story unless there is a lot of drama to the mix.

The birth of Jamie Lynn Spears' new daughter, Maddie Briann, wasn't without complications... to say the least.
In the new issue of Star we have all the details about Jamie Lynn's delivery room drama — including her life-threatening decision, emergency surgery to save the baby, Britney's jealous episode, Lynne Spears fighting with everyone and the brouhaha over a paternity test.
"The baby's heart rate dropped every time she tried to push," a family insider tells Star. "They did an ultrasound and quickly discovered that the umbilical cord was too short." But despite the doctors' dire warnings, the 17-year-old "was adamant about having a natural delivery."
Everyone in the room at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb, Miss., pleaded with Jamie Lynn to listen to the doctors — including big sister Britney. Brit had already been with Jamie Lynn for hours, massaging her back as she endured painful contractions. "But she got mad," says the insider. She told Jamie Lynn to "just have a damn Caesarian," as she did. "Britney then ran out in tears because she couldn't bear to see what was happening."
The girls mother, Lynne, only added to the tension. "Lynne was already angry because her daughter didn't want her in the delivery room at all," says the source. "But she had insisted on being there, along with Casey Aldridge, Jamie Lynn's boyfriend. Jamie Lynn cussed and yelled at her mom, and told her to get out. She cursed Lynne for bringing her into the world to bear such pain." (source)

Do you believe this??? This just seems like a lot of crap to me. I’m not saying everything was wonderful and perfect… some parts of the story can be truth… but all that drama in one single delivery?? They have got to be making it up!
First photos of baby Maddie Briann were published on what is claimed to be Jamie Lynn’s MySpace but apparently OK! Magazine already had bought the exclusive when they announced the pregnancy.

Spears Family Get Together To Welcome Baby Girl Maddie Briann

Jamie Lynn Spears popped out a healthy and beautiful baby girl!! A lot of names were suggested but Jamie Lynn ended up surprising us with an original and beautiful name that is Maddie Briann.

"Just the family was there," says a source about the birth around 9:30 a.m. at a hospital in Mississippi, near her Louisiana hometown. "Everyone is healthy and happy."
Jamie Lynn's sister Britney, father Jamie and brother Bryan flew in Wednesday to be with her for the birth; her mother Lynne had been with her helping her get ready for the baby.
Since announcing her pregnancy in December, Britney’s little sister has retreated from the bright lights of Hollywood, opting for the comforts of her hometown of Kentwood, La. (source)

Britney Spears To Help Deliver Jamie Lynn Spears’ Baby!

Britney Spears postponed her hearing in her conservatorship case to determine whether her father Jamie should maintain legal control over her. Instead Brit is flying out to her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana to support her baby sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, who is getting ready to give birth.

Doctors are preparing to induce labor for Jamie Lynn Spears in the next 24 to 48 hours due to complications in the pregnancy. The 17 year-old star of Zoey 101 had an ultrasound last week, indicating her baby may be in breech position.
Jamie Lynn's family members including the baby's father, Casey Aldridge, are gathering at Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, Ms. Britney and her father Jamie left Los Angeles Wednesday morning on a commercial flight to join Jamie Lynn.
Earlier tests showed the baby is a girl. Jamie Lynn and Casey plan to name their new baby a combination of both their names - Cailynn or Cassie (other rumors report the baby’s name will be Emma Jean.) (source)

Pregnant Jamie Lynn Spears Wedding Drama & Baby Name

It seems like there will be no wedding for Jamie Lynn and her baby daddy Casey Aldridge. It might turn out to be the best for both!! They were being pushed into a situation that normally ends in a bitter divorce later.
Give Jamie Lynn and Casey time to adjust to their new life and responsibilities and if marriage is what they really want there’s plenty of time to do it!

Jamie Lynn Spear’s baby joy turns to tears because her wedding to Casey Aldridge is off! The pregnant teenager has called off her wedding. Ever since the Zoey 101 made the shocking announcement that she’s pregnant, her mom, Lynne Spears, has been pushing her to marry baby daddy Casey.
And while it seems like the teen mom-to-be has been trying her best to do the right thing, insiders tell Star that the tension between the two young parents-to-be has become so intense that it’s doubtful they will ever tie the knot.
“Jamie Lynn and Casey have been fighting non-stop about everything, from what to name the baby to what to eat for dinner,” a source tells Star. “And now she’s called off their wedding plans.” (source)

The couple has decided to call their baby girl Emma Jean… wow really?? A normal name for a celebrity baby?? No fruit name? Or Arabic? Or senseless?? Go Jamie Lynn!!! This girl got it right with the name!

Pregnant Jamie Lynn Spears Getting Ready for Another Baby Shower

Beautiful mom to be Jamie Lynn Spears fills her tank as she heads to her second baby shower at a family friend’s house in Liberty, Mississippi on Saturday.
Last Friday, big sister Britney and mom Lynne threw the 17-year-old Zoey 101 star a baby shower. But this weekend, baby shower #2 is being thrown by the members of fiance Casey Aldridge’s family.
Jamie Lynn will pop out a baby girl sometime between late June and early July. How can she walk in those heels with such a huge bump? I’m sure Jamie Lynn can’t see her feet now but she rocks those heels!! Don’t know if that healthy but… Go girl!

Baby Shower Exclusive Photos of Britney & Jamie Lynn Spears

Spears sisters reunite for Jamie Lynn Spears’ baby shower. Ok! Magazine has the exclusive photos of the event and an exclusive interview with the mom to be. So be sure to pick up the new issue of OK! — on sale everywhere Thursday.
"It was wonderful to be able to spend time with her and just be girls again," Jamie Lynn told OK! in an exclusive interview about seeing her sister for the first time in months. "We painted our nails and did stupid stuff."
Even better, explains Jamie Lynn, was that she was able to have some one-on-one time with Brit: "To be able to be in the privacy of our own home and just be sisters again was wonderful."
Mother-of-two Britney even shared some words of wisdom with her pregnant sibling. "She told me, 'There are going to be some long nights, but it is completely worth it,'" Jamie Lynn recalls to OK!.
As for whether or not the pop superstar will make it back home to Louisiana when Jamie Lynn has the baby, the teen star tells OK!, "Nothing is set in stone, but that would be wonderful. I'd love to have her here for that, but you can't plan that far ahead."

Jamie Lynn Spears TOO Pregnant & Gorgeous

Jamie Lynn Spears was at a friend’s house with her HUGE baby bump to see some new puppies before visiting a clinic in McComb, Mississippi on Thursday. She is looking amazing and that bump is soo cute!
Hey people, we are done criticizing Jamie Lynn! We know she was irresponsible, she is just 17 but it’s enough! Let Jamie have some peace and enjoy such a beautiful stage as pregnancy.
Britney Spears is heading home for her pregnant sister Jamie Lynn’s baby shower.
The ‘Toxic’ star is reportedly leaving Los Angeles later today to arrive in Kentwood, La., in time for tomorrow’s bash at mom Lynne Spears’ house, Serenity.
“At first, Jamie [Britney’s dad] didn’t think it was a good idea for Brit to go. He thought it might create chaos in Kentwood, and he wasn’t sure he wanted to put Jamie Lynn — or Britney — in the middle of that.
“Britney can’t travel without Jamie’s permission, so she worked really hard to talk him into it; it was so important for her to be there for her little sister.
“He finally gave in, knowing it’d be good for Brit and Jamie Lynn to finally see each other.”
Yeah! It would be good to have a sisters’ reunion!!
