TMZ just confirmed a rumor that was going wild this afternoon about Britney’s sister, 16 year old Jamie Lynn being pregnant with boyfriend Casey Aldridge baby.
Nickelodeon issued the following statement this afternoon: "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."

I'm sure this'll raise the same controversy that Charlotte Church's pregnancy did. Same age, same situation.
Poor little Jamie Lynn. No positive role models to guide her. And she's not getting much sympathy on the web, to judge by comments I've seen left at opinion forums like http://www.holyshnikes.com and other places. Maybe she'll get some help from her mom's parenting book, which I'm sure will find another publisher soon!
