The Truth About Britney Spears Performance + Video

But Britney has the perfect excuse for such a bad performance since according to sources:
Britney threatened to ditch her VMA performance just minutes before she took the stage. Want to know why? Britney overheard Sarah Silverman rehearsing her monologue in which she calls Britney's babies mistakes and takes jab after jab at Britney.OK, Sarah Silverman broke all limits but that's one more reason for Britney to prove her wrong and come out with a bang... but her performance was boring you could actually see Britney didn't rehearse that much, she was a little lost sometimes.
Britney made it very clear with MTV that Sarah was NOT allowed to talk about her kids, and MTV agreed.

These reports are false, Britney Spears knew nothing about Sarah Silverman's performance.
Silverman's publicist Lewis Kay told “Sarah did nothing but react to Britney’s actions in a comical way, which is what she was asked to do” and “The only person who knew what Sarah was going to say was Sarah. When she rehearse she even said, ‘Joke. Joke. Joke. 50 Cent. Britney Spears. Etc.’ And she only mentioned the names of the people that she was going to talk about. No one ever heard her material before it aired”.
Britney find another excuse of just blame me on excessive partying the night before with Paris and Diddy...

We've been having quite a laugh talking about Brittany's VMA trainwreck video over at Highbrid Nation. Its ashame, I feel like her comeback has been derailed before its even begun. Oh and someone tell her about that weave. Looks horrible. Just rock the short hair.

She might be bored of performing already. Maybe now she has figured out her fame has come to nothing. Poor lady. Meh.
Ah everyone's kidding themselves by saying brit blew it! Her music is still going to sell, people are still going to watch her every move, her live performances might be a bit shaky but i'd be shaky too up there in front of the most judgmental eyes in the business. The music industry isn't all about live music... She'll get more airplay than anyone & still look hotter than anyone tearing strips off her, in any of her film clips. She could keep falling flat on her face but ppl will still be interested in her. Look at her last few years, she has been all over the place & was still the opening act at MTV VMA!!
Everyone can say what they like about her dismal comeback but she'll still be laughing all the way to the bank cos suckers love to hate her. I do hope she pulls it together though. Go Brit!

@anonymous: i really dont think Britney can laugh in anyones face right now!! i dont care if she is rich and famous and continues to sell better than anyone in the music business what about stability what about those poor kids with a mother that prefers to party and pets than stay home with the babies!!! lets not be innocent in this... shes not a girl anymore shes suppose to be a mother!!! doesnt mean she can be hot and famous but more centered and not this emotional mess!!!
