2007 MTV VMAs: Sarah Silverman disses Britney Spears Video

Now here it is the performance that set the VMAs on fire, Sarah Silverman insults everyone from Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and takes a shot at 50Cent!!


One thing we all have to admit is that Sarah says some things we already thought in our own privacy but are too afraid to express it soo clear and for the whole world to see! I totally think Silverman knew what she was doing and she is well known for her caustic humor, also MTV knew what they were doing!! The awards show was a disaster some celebrities didn't even bother to go... Sarah is a good polemic choice to open up the show!

2007 MTV VMAs: Justin Timberlake shows no love for Reality Stars

The controversial at the 2007 MTV VMAs doesn't end with Britney's performance and Kid Rock and Tommy Lee fight, no way!! When Justin Timberlake was about to receive the award for Male Artist of the Year presented by The Hills girls, Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge & Whitney Port, Timbaland takes over the MoonMan and the stage giving Justin the award himself!!

As a part of Justin's "winner's speech" he asks “Play more dayum videos. We don’t want to see the Simpsons [Jessica & Ashley] on reality television. Play more music videos!" I have to say i agree with Justin here, MTV means Music Television not Reality TV!!

2007 VMAs: Tommy Lee & Kid Rock Scuffle

The VMAs really were on fire and it got even hotter when Kid Rock got into a fight with Tommy Lee, seems like the situation was as simple as this "It looked like Tommy Lee went over to say hello to P. Diddy 'cause Kid Rock was out of his seat," witness Carson Daly reports "Kid Rock came back to his seat and all hell broke loose".

So much testosterone in the air, was the fight over Pamela Anderson?? I guess Tommy was getting too cozy with Pam! Remember both Kid and Tommy were married in the past with the Baywatch star!

The Truth About Britney Spears Performance + Video

If you haven't already saw it here it is! WARNING it's borinnnng......

But Britney has the perfect excuse for such a bad performance since according to sources:
Britney threatened to ditch her VMA performance just minutes before she took the stage. Want to know why? Britney overheard Sarah Silverman rehearsing her monologue in which she calls Britney's babies mistakes and takes jab after jab at Britney.
Britney made it very clear with MTV that Sarah was NOT allowed to talk about her kids, and MTV agreed.
OK, Sarah Silverman broke all limits but that's one more reason for Britney to prove her wrong and come out with a bang... but her performance was boring you could actually see Britney didn't rehearse that much, she was a little lost sometimes.

Update!!!
These reports are false, Britney Spears knew nothing about Sarah Silverman's performance.
Silverman's publicist Lewis Kay told “Sarah did nothing but react to Britney’s actions in a comical way, which is what she was asked to do” and “The only person who knew what Sarah was going to say was Sarah. When she rehearse she even said, ‘Joke. Joke. Joke. 50 Cent. Britney Spears. Etc.’ And she only mentioned the names of the people that she was going to talk about. No one ever heard her material before it aired”.
Britney find another excuse of just blame me on excessive partying the night before with Paris and Diddy...

The first and till now most amazing arrivals at the 2007 VMA's Red Carpet were beautiful Nicole Scherzinger and Rihanna in the most fabulous pink dress ever!!

Celebrities just keep on shining in the Red Carpet: Lil' Mama (what is she thinking?), Chris Brown, Ne-Yo, Fall Out Boy, Brody Jenner, Shar Jackson, Foo Fighters (love them!!), Cee-Lo Green, Jesse Spencer, Hayden Panettiere, Ashley Simpson, Jennifer Garner & Jamie Foxx, Mary J. Blige, Maroon 5, Sarah Silverman, 50Cent, Eve, T.I., Rosario Dawson, Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson and Beyonce (is that a curtain?).
