7Confessions: Hayden Panettiere’s “Wake Up Call” Song For Candie’s

Great news! The first single from Hayden Panettiere's album will be released digitally on August 5!! The song is called "Wake Up Call" and will be featured in a "back to school" campaign with Candie's.
“Wake Up Call” will be featured on Hayden’s forthcoming debut album from Disney’s Hollywood Records, slated for a 2009 release. Candie’s plans to incorporate Hayden’s new track into the star’s ads for the company, similar to what the brand did with former Candie’s spokesmodel Fergie’s platinum-selling track “Glamorous.” In 2006, Candie’s also featured Hilary Duff’s single “Wake Up” in her promotions for the line.
“When we look for our talent, we always look for the ‘it girl’ in pop culture,” says Dari Marder, chief marketing officer for Iconix Brand Group, parent company of Candie’s. “We really feel our customer connects with music . . . it’s a great formula.”
I can’t wait to hear this song! I’m really curious about Hayden, the singer talents! I'm sure she will do great!!
