First Photo of Jessica Alba's Baby Honor Marrie Warren

On giving birth: "I didn't scream. It was really Zen. The labor was more like meditation, I did yoga breathing. I was focused."

On baby Honor Marie Warren: "It hasn't totally sunk in. She dreams, she smiles, and coos and does all these things, but she hasn't seen enough of the world yet to understand any of that stuff. So I still feel like she's connected to the other world, or something. There's no other way to explain it. It's a miracle."

On getting back into shape: "I started working out last Thursday, but for 20 minutes. I do cardio on my own. I'm doing it slow," she says. "Now I'm starting to eat more healthy. Because after working out, having fried chicken and mashed potatoes is a little counteractive."

So who does Honor look more like?
"She looks like a girl version of me," Cash says. "She has my nose, my eyebrows and my..."
"Forehead and dimples," Jessica finishes, adding, "She has my mouth when I was a baby. And my ears."
"Maybe Honor is a mixture," Cash reconsiders. "I want her to look like me, because a daughter looking like Jessica, I'd kill myself!"

Jessica Alba Covers Cosmopolitan - August 2008 (Full Scans)

Jessica Alba shows off her soft and girly side in the August UK Cosmopolitan. The actress and new mom opens up about her pregnancy, her surprise wedding, and how she never thought she'd end up where she is now. Here are some highlights:On falling for Cash: "We met on the set of The Fantastic Four in 2005. I remember thinking right away, 'What a great guy.' The first week we got together, he gave me a note saying, 'I really, really like you.' And that was exactly how I felt. Cash believes, as I do, in taking life as it comes. Nothing was planned – the pregnancy or the wedding – but he took it in his stride and convinced me we’d conquer all! I love that. He makes me laugh more than anyone — and he's great looking too..."

On being pregnant: "I never felt less sexy [photos here>>] . I mean, I wouldn’t have changed it for the world and my cravings weren't so bad — I craved citrus fruits, like lemons, oranges and grapefruit. But I wanted to get rid of all the weight. It was also a great happiness, though and I certainly didn't have any cravings not to be pregnant."

On what surprises her about men, and double standards: "How easily they're attracted to the obvious. All you have to do is dress up in a sexy outfit. When I went blonde for Sin City three years ago, I swear I've never had more male attention. [...] I don’t like double standards. I’d never use a man for sex but I can understand why some women would – and I don’t see why they should be criticized for having the same attitude as men."

On her surprise wedding: "Well, we'd talked about the possibility of having a wedding before the birth, but nothing was decided. Then we just thought, 'Why not?' We wanted to do it for ourselves, not for anyone else, so it just made sense. It was very romantic, though. Cash designed the ring himself. He decided he wanted to wear one, too — I didn't even have to force him! How he proposed is a secret but, needless to say, I said yes right away. We’re not a typical Hollywood couple. I love that he’s not an actor."

On dating actors: "I’m way too high maintenance to be in a relationship with an actor – they’re all such divas! They take longer in hair and makeup than I do. I used to do action scenes in the TV series Dark Angel and if you roughed one of them up, they'd complain. I remember accidentally hitting one guy on the jaw and he needed a 20 minute break so he could put ice on it. He even wanted X-rays! I was like, 'Come on, get over it.'"

On her life now: "I never thought I’d find a man before 30, let alone marry him and have his baby. I always used to meet the wrong guys – the ones who wanted to hang out for a week and see how far they could get. If you didn’t have sex in the first few days, you were either frigid or a lesbian. So I held out – and, boy, am I glad I did!"

First Photos Of Jessica Alba’s Baby Girl Honor Marie

New baby Honor Marie’s photos are still in the market. Actually we don’t even know if Jessica Alba will sell the photos but we are excited to meet the baby. I’m sure in a couple of months we will get a picture of precious little Alba girl.

Jessica Alba emerged in LA on Saturday for the first time since giving birth, with Cash Warren and little Honor Marie by her side. Of course no glimpse of the infant just yet as Honor stayed all cozied up in her carrier while her new parents enjoyed the sunny afternoon.

Jessica looks great for someone who just give birth a couple of weeks ago. Daddy Cash Warren is proudly carrying baby Honor on their way for a pediatrician consult and they have special help from a private nurse.

Jessica Alba Welcomes Healthy Baby Girl Honor Marie Warren

Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren have welcomed a baby girl. Honor Marie Warren was born June 7 in Los Angeles, her rep, Brad Cafarelli, confirms. This is the couple's first child.
Alba, 27, and Warren, 31, quietly wed on May 19 at the Beverly Hills courthouse. The two met while working on Fantastic Four, for which Warren was the director's assistant. They became engaged last December.
As for the kind of parent she plans to be, the actress recently told Fit Pregnancy that she'll walk the line between tough and nurturing. "I don't want to be my child's best friend. I want to be a mom," she said. "But I do want my child to come to me when they have problems and need to talk, so it's going to be about treading that line."

Pregnant Jessica Alba Talks About Baby & New Movie

Jessica Alba is a little gaga. It's not because she has a potentially big movie with Mike Myers, "The Love Guru." about to hit theaters (June 20). Alba, 27 and newly married, has another major production on her mind -- the impending birth of her first child.
Tell us about your role in "The Love Guru."
I am a huge fan of Mike and his work. He is a freakin' comic genius. My character inherits this hockey team, the Toronto Maple Leafs. They haven't won a game, and the city of Toronto basically blames her and her family. She thinks you have to heal from within, and she believes in Eastern philosophies. One of the books she reads is the Love Guru's.

Do you have a spiritual side? I grew up in a Catholic home and then I went into a more Eastern approach on my own. I think there's something to be said for herbs and meditation and things like that.

What's been your least favorite movie role? There are quite a few. I feel like more than anything, I'm at the beginning of my career. I'm hoping to hit my groove when I'm in my 30s and 40s.

Let's talk about the baby. Have you gotten any outrageous offers for photos? I haven't really gotten any -- not that I'm aware of. You have to understand, everything that is written is kind of bull ...

Do you have a chandelier in the nursery like Jennifer Lopez?
Actually, I do. I got a really beauti- ful one.

Do you plan to nurse? Yeah, I'm definitely going to try to do everything to give the baby as much nourishment as possible.

About nourishment, what was the last thing you cooked?
Last night we had halibut soft tacos and a really amazing vegetable salad and panini doughnuts. You buy regular or apple fritter doughnuts and make a panini -- Cash's favorite.

You were criticized for disrespecting your Hispanic heritage. On a census, what would you check? I always check white and Hispanic.

You said you can't wait to meet your brown baby. What do you mean? I mean my dad is dark-skinned [Mexican], Cash's daddy is dark-skinned [African-American], and our moms are both white. So there's a 50-50 chance of our kid coming out dark or light. It would be nice if the daddies can see themselves in our baby.

Do you think, especially after this presidential election, that we won't be so obsessed with skin color as a nation? I think my generation is the last generation that sees color. In this next generation coming up, everybody is mixed. And I think with people like Jennifer Lopez and Halle Berry being out there opening movies and having clothing lines and pushing the idea of ideal beauty, [the ideal isn't] Christie Brinkley anymore. You don't have to look like Barbie.

Jessica Alba’s Baby Bump Evolution (Photos)

Since Jessica Alba announced she and Cash Warren were pregnant with their first child back in December, she has been to some ups and downs. We have seen Jessica working out at the gym, shopping, attending the premiere of her latest movie “The Eye” and the Oscars…One thing we learned is that Jessica hasn’t been totally happy with the paparazzi following her every move. So it’s easy to find photos of a very angry and pregnant Jessica Alba snapping at the paps. While on official events she is smiling, showing off her baby bump and completely happy to talk about her pregnancy.

Jessica Alba's due date is June 8. She is expecting a baby girl to be named Honor and she showed us her beautiful pink nursery. Jess and Cash recently married in a private ceremony last week.
We wish the newlyweds all the best and we can’t wait to see those baby’s photos.

About to give birth to their first baby, newlyweds Jessica Alba and Cash Warren attended the 2008 Celebration of Mentoring in Beverly Hills on their first night out as husband and wife.

They were married in the Beverly Hills courthouse's ceremony room under an arch of green silk foliage and white flowers. They were casually dressed, with Alba wearing a long blue dress and her hair back in a ponytail. MORE details here…

Cash Warren & Jessica Alba Secret Wedding Details

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren have gotten married, her rep, Brad Cafarelli confirmed the story. According to a source, they were married in the Beverly Hills courthouse's ceremony room under an arch of green silk foliage and white flowers. They were casually dressed, with Alba wearing a long blue dress and her hair back in a ponytail."She looked happy but nervous," the source says. Warren, in a white shirt and brown pants, arrived with Alba at about 11:30 a.m. on Monday, applied for a marriage license and waited about 40 minutes for the paperwork to be processed before a staff member from the courthouse married them, the source says.
Nobody else attended the wedding, the source adds. Apparently not even Jessica’s brother knew about the ceremony. "My sister!? I'm going to have to call her!" Josh Alba said when Us Weekly alerted him to the news Tuesday.
When asked if Warren will make a good husband, Josh said "Well, he's my brother in law now!" Ah ah surprise!!! I bet he didn’t like hearing it from a magazine but sister Jess should have at least told him “hey bro, I’m married now!!”

Jessica Alba Shows Off Her Beautiful Pink Nursery

Jessica Alba revealed that she and Cash Warren plan to put the finishing touches on the nursery with baby photos of various family members, but for now, they're quite happy with the almost-completed room. Working with designer Kari Whitman, the pair decided on a lavender, pink, and white color scheme. They also wanted hippie-style embellishments while staying as green as they could. Jessica explained,

That's the way I live. Kari respects and shares my views on being as green as possible. I've been into anything ecofriendly or sustainable for a little while now, and I wanted to make this environment as nontoxic as possible. When I was doing research on furniture, I thought NurseryWorks was really cute. I told them I wanted formaldehyde-free wood and low-VOC [Volatile Organic Compounds] paint, and they were like, 'That's our line.'
It's not just for one sex: If we have a boy in a few years, it's something I can use. Also, all of the furniture grows with the kids: The bed becomes a toddler trundle, and the changing table can be just another dresser.

Jessica and Cash's baby girl is due in late May/early June.
Meanwhile Jessica has been busy competing at her fiancé website IbeatYou.com as she wrote on her MySpace blog:
